If you are more ‘talent’ than ‘suit’, then why not settle into the director’s chair? The Movies comes packed with tools to help you write and direct your own films. Once you have polished your films to perfection, you can upload them to The Movies online website and show the world your best shots.

The Movies is an original strategy-simulation game that calls on players to use both their creativity and their management skills. It is packed with amazing 3D graphics and a game play experience with extensive Macintosh customization to give Macintosh gamers a better experience.

As usual we have added a few extra features, just for the Mac version. The Movies for Mac has 3 special features, all of which should make you glad to be on a Mac.
Use your iTunes Music Library for the soundtrack |

Support for iTunes is seamlessly integrated into The Movies for Mac. This means that when you're editing the soundtrack in Post-Production, you can use any of the files from your iTunes Music Library to create a professional sounding score.
NOTE: Bear in mind that you cannot upload any movies with copyrighted music to The Movies Online.

Use your GarageBand and iMovie FX and samples |
|
The list of sound effects and samples you can use in The Movies Post-Production is hugely increased by the built-in support for GarageBand and iMovie. You can even use sound samples from GarageBand Jam Packs — all you have to do is install the packs and The Movies does the rest. |
