We are looking for a seasoned backend developer who thrives in building scalable, cloud-native applications. You will architect and deliver robust APIs and services— while actively leveraging AI tools to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Design, develop and maintaining high-performance backend services using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• ECS, EC2 and S3 Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS
• REST API development
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude or any other) into day-to-day workflows for code generation, review and documentation.
• Participate in architectural planning, code reviews and sprint ceremonies with clear, concise technical communication.
• Monitor, debug and optimize system performance across cloud environments and backend services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for server-side development.
• Solid experience with MongoDB/DynamoDB — schema design, indexing and aggregation pipelines.
• Practical AWS experience with ECS, EC2, S3 and other commonly used AWS services in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants in a professional setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and version control (Git).
• Experience with TypeScript in backend environments.
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda, RDS, or CloudFormation / Terraform.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
