We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.JS,  GraphQL , SQL and AWS to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud-native development and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
• Build and optimize GraphQL APIs
• Design efficient database schemas and write optimized SQL queries
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement microservices and RESTful APIs
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, Product)
• Participate in architecture design and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues 

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Typescript
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL (schema design, resolvers, performance optimization)
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with caching (Redis)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS)
