A major goal for YES BANK was to upgrade their existing app from a primarily transactional experience to an all-purpose go-to app.
As today’s consumers live a mobile-first lifestyle, app compatibility with all mobile devices was essential, including Android tablets and Apple iPads, while also supporting extensive banking transactions on Apple and Android smartwatches. To optimize this app experience, the first step was to understand the entire device ecosystem and the desired user experience.
We aimed to make on-the-go transactions for customers simple, while also delivering added value with several industry-first features. The app was then developed using the IBM MobileFirst Platform, which in addition to being compatible across all mobile devices, also supported Apple and Android smartwatches.
